Sell Your Business
the Right Way
BuyBiashara helps Kenyan business owners achieve a successful sale — quickly and for the right price. We handle everything from valuation and buyer sourcing to negotiations, legal transfer, and handover.
Why Sellers Choose BuyBiashara
Sell quickly, safely, and for the right value
Business owners come to us for four things: a fast sale, the right price, complete anonymity during the process, and serious buyers only. That is exactly what we are built for.
Sell Faster
Every listing is actively managed by a dedicated agent. We bring qualified buyers to you, keep the process moving, and prevent deals from stalling.
Sell for the Right Value
Our agents know the market. We help you price right, negotiate effectively, and avoid leaving money on the table.
Complete Anonymity
Your business name, exact address, and identity are protected throughout. Buyers see a descriptive listing — not who you are — until due diligence begins.
Serious Buyers Only
Every buyer is registered, verified, and bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement before accessing your details. We filter out time-wasters before they ever reach you.
Your Agent Handles Everything
Inquiries, offers, negotiations, due diligence — your dedicated agent manages every step. You only step in when a deal is ready to close.
Legal and Escrow Included
Our in-house legal team handles all agreements. Buyer funds are held in escrow and released only after transfer is confirmed.
Why Most Business Sales Fail
Selling a business is harder than it looks
Wrong buyers waste your time
Tyre-kickers, window shoppers, and people who can't actually afford your business drain your energy and distract you from running it.
You can't tell anyone
If staff, suppliers or competitors find out you're selling, it can destabilise the business before a deal is done. Confidentiality is everything.
Deals fall apart at closing
Without proper legal structure, payment security, and handover management, deals collapse at the last moment — even after months of negotiation.
What BuyBiashara Handles
One process. Fully managed.
There is one sale process on BuyBiashara — and our team manages every step. You focus on running your business until it is time to sign.
Buyer Vetting
Every buyer is registered, verified, and bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement before accessing your business details. We qualify serious intent before bringing them to you.
Offer Management
Our agents handle all inquiries and offer negotiations on your behalf. We consult you on key decisions and present only serious, considered offers.
Legal & Closing
From due diligence through to signed agreements, escrow, legal transfer, and handover — our in-house legal support manages the entire closing process.
Listing on BuyBiashara is free. We charge a success fee only when your business sells. Our fee covers the entire facilitation — from agent support and legal fees to escrow management and post-sale documentation. Your agent will walk you through the details.
The Process
From Listing to Sold in Four Steps
Selling on BuyBiashara follows a clear, guided process so you always know exactly where your listing stands.
Create Your Account
Sign up and create your profile. Add your phone number — your agent will call you within one business day to discuss your business and walk you through the next steps.
Verification & Listing
Before your listing goes live, our team verifies the physical presence and ownership of your business. Once confirmed, your agent prepares and publishes the listing — or reviews a self-submitted listing for accuracy.
Buyers Are Vetted For You
Once live, qualified buyers find your listing. Every buyer signs a Non-Disclosure Agreement before accessing details. Our agents handle all questions and enquiries — you are only brought in when there is genuine, serious interest.
Offer & Negotiation
When a buyer is ready, they submit a formal offer through the platform. Our agent reviews it and consults you. We negotiate on your behalf, counter where necessary, and only confirm acceptance with your approval.
Due Diligence
Once an offer is accepted, the buyer conducts due diligence — a physical visit to your business premises, followed by a review of legal and financial documents. Our team coordinates and supports this phase throughout.
Agreements & Closing
Both parties sign the required agreements at our offices — Sale Agreement, Share Purchase or Asset Purchase Agreement, Transfer schedules, and Post-Acquisition Support Agreement. Payment is held in escrow and released according to an agreed schedule once handover is confirmed.
Seller Questions Answered
Will anyone find out I am selling?
This is the question every seller asks first. Here is exactly how we protect you.
Your business is anonymised
Your listing does not show your business name or exact address publicly. Buyers see a descriptive label — "Restaurant in Westlands" — not your trading name. Your identity stays protected until a buyer is serious enough to proceed to due diligence.
Every buyer signs an NDA
Before a buyer can access your financials or documents, they sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement on the platform. This is legally binding. If they breach it, they are liable. The signed record is stored and timestamped against their account.
Staff and suppliers will not know
BuyBiashara does not make announcements. Your listing is visible only to registered, verified buyers who have agreed to confidentiality. Physical due diligence visits are coordinated discreetly — your agent manages the logistics with you.
No contact details are ever shared
Buyers communicate with our team, not with you directly. Your phone number and email are never disclosed on the platform. All buyer messages are routed through our agents, who qualify intent before bringing anything to you.
Exit Readiness Consultation
Planning to sell in 1–5 years? The decisions you make now will determine what your business is worth when you're ready. Work with an Exit Architect to understand where you stand and build a clear plan.
